Best Travel Agency Software in 2026: 7 Platforms Compared
This guide compares seven platforms to help you find the best travel agency software for your team, on the criteria agencies and tour operators actually decide on: how you build and deliver itineraries, whose brand your clients see, how bookings get in, what happens when a trip is disrupted, and what it costs. Each entry says which type of agency it suits and which it does not.

Quick answer
Which travel agency software is best in 2026? For agencies past the solo stage, mTrip. For independent advisors, Travefy, Tern or TravelJoy.
Agency teams prioritizing branded itinerary delivery and connected operations should pick mTrip. It combines GDS and mid-office connections, AI document import, a quote feature, configurable app/web/PDF delivery, and optional risk management. Its full white-label solution adds your own developer-account app and custom development on request. Agencies prioritizing built-in CRM and payments should also assess Travefy, Tern, and TravelJoy; Ezus focuses on quoting and costing, Axus on itinerary collaboration, and Vamoos on the guest app. mTrip does not target solo independent advisors.
Best travel agency software by use case
- Best for agency teams prioritizing branded delivery: mTrip. Compare its full white-label app, feature configuration, named GDS and mid-office connections, AI document import, and optional risk management. For CRM and advisor administration, also assess Travefy, Tern, and TravelJoy. This guide separates those needs so you can choose the right platform for your business.
- Best for automation, with or without a GDS: mTrip. Native Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport and mid-office feeds keep itineraries in step with bookings. Agencies that book on supplier websites use the AI Import Wizard instead, which turns confirmations in email, PDF, Word or Excel into a structured itinerary in seconds, without retyping.
- Best for disruption management: mTrip. A live disruption dashboard, real-time risk alerts and traveler tracking; compare the scope of duty-of-care workflows separately from flight alerts.
- Best for flexibility and custom development: mTrip. A platform built for detailed configuration: you choose which app features each client type sees, switch modules on as you need them, run separate branded versions for agency partners, work in nine languages, and commission custom development for requirements no off-the-shelf tool covers.
Best alternative platforms by use case
- Best all-in-one for independent advisors: Travefy. Itineraries, CRM, proposals, invoicing and commission tracking in one low-cost seat.
- Best for CRM and workflow depth: Tern. Sales pipeline, automation, commission reconciliation and reporting, from solo advisors to large agencies.
- Best budget CRM and client app: TravelJoy. From $19 a month, with proposals, payments and a free traveler app.
- Best for quoting and costing: Ezus. Request-to-quote, automated budgets and travel documents for tour operators and DMCs, and it feeds mTrip.
- Best for DMC co-editing: Axus. Shared itinerary building with DMCs and GDS PNR import, priced per seat.
- Guest app for boutique operators: Vamoos. A guest app priced by passenger volume; confirm launch scope.
Also seen in searches for this term: WeTravel, a group booking and payments tool, and Nutshell, a general-purpose CRM. Neither builds or delivers itineraries, so they are not compared here.
How we compared
- Six practical buying criteria. Who the tool is built for, traveler app and branding, itinerary and documents, how booking data gets in, disruption management, and pricing model. No weighted score: each column shows what the vendor offers, so you can weight it for your agency.
- Public documentation, reviewed September 9, 2026. Product and pricing sources are linked below. This is a vendor-published comparison, not an independent hands-on benchmark. Confirm plan scope, billing terms, and integrations in a demo.
- Unconfirmed features remain questions. A feature not documented on a reviewed page is not proof that it is unavailable. Ask each vendor to demonstrate the workflow you need.
- Each tool judged against its own buyer. An advisor suite is not marked down for lacking GDS feeds it never promised. Every card ends with who that tool fits best and who should look elsewhere.

What travel agency software covers
The five categories of travel agency software in 2026
Travel agency software — also sold as travel agency software or travel agent software — is the set of tools an agency or tour operator uses to run trips once a client says yes: pulling bookings together, building the itinerary, sending documents, keeping travelers informed and handling changes. The label now covers very different products. Some are sales tools first, with the itinerary as output. Others are delivery tools first, fed by a GDS or mid-office. Knowing which category you are shopping in eliminates half the list before you compare features.
Advisor all-in-ones
Travefy, TravelJoy, Tern
CRM, quoting, payments, commissions and an itinerary in one per-seat subscription. Built for independent advisors and host agencies.
Itinerary and collaboration tools
Axus
Itinerary building shared between advisors, DMCs and suppliers, with GDS PNR import and shared or custom-branded traveler app options.
Traveler apps
Vamoos
A polished app for guests, fed by uploads or a reservation-system connection. Little or no back office.
Quoting and production systems
Ezus
Request-to-quote, costing, margins, supplier management and travel documents for tour operators and DMCs.
White-label itinerary builder and client app platforms
mTrip
Build the itinerary once, import bookings through supported GDS and mid-office connections or the AI Import Wizard for booking emails and documents, and deliver it to clients through an app published under the agency’s own name, a web itinerary and configurable PDFs. Optional disruption management add-on with a live dashboard.
Two shifts that matter in 2026
Travelers compare your app to the consumer apps they use daily, so offline access, live updates and a clean branded experience are now baseline. And AI has moved into the tedious part of the job: most platforms here can read a booking confirmation, PDF or spreadsheet and turn it into a structured itinerary without retyping.

Prices are published subscription examples, not equivalent project quotes. An entry-level subscription may exclude the app branding, integrations, or implementation you need. Compare the relevant plan or custom quote from each vendor, including currency, billing period, additional seats, setup, taxes, and optional modules.
How to compare mTrip’s cost with a per-seat subscription
Start with the same requirements: expected itinerary volume, team size, booking sources, traveler features, and app branding. Compare the first-year total, including setup and implementation, then the ongoing subscription and any optional modules.
For mTrip, distinguish Trip Agent’s shared-app branding from a full white-label app under your own Apple and Google developer accounts. Full white-label implementation typically takes 2 to 3 weeks; integrations and custom development can extend the scope and timeline. Bespoke development is priced separately.

Our pick for agencies past the solo stage · white-label itinerary builder and branded client app
mTrip
mTrip is white-label travel agency software built around the trip itself: an itinerary builder, a client app under your own brand, and travel documents, in one white-label platform. Clients include Globus, Abercrombie & Kent, Collette, AAA, Kontiki, Wamos and ACIS.
Key facts: founded 2009, Montreal · 300+ travel brands · 35+ countries · 4 million+ trips a year · Read G2 reviews · 9 languages · AI Import Wizard launched February 2026
The workflow runs from confirmed booking to the client’s phone. Bookings arrive from Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport, from mid-office systems such as Tourplan, Moonstride, Juniper or Ezus, or from emails and documents read by the AI Import Wizard, launched in February 2026, which turns a booking confirmation in any format into a structured itinerary in seconds.
The itinerary builder then publishes the trip three ways at once: a mobile app on iOS and Android, a web itinerary on the agency’s domain, and a branded PDF built from configurable templates, fonts, and your own colors, configurable to your document requirements. Review changes in the itinerary, deliver updates through connected app and web views, and generate branded PDFs from the latest trip data.
The app can be published under the agency’s own developer account with no mTrip branding, or on the lower-cost Trip Agent tier, which applies your logo and colors to a shared listing and is available immediately. An optional risk management module adds disruption management: a live disruption dashboard showing every affected trip and traveler, real-time risk alerts and traveler tracking, for leisure operators as well as corporate accounts.
Key features
- Own-brand iOS and Android app, or shared-listing Trip Agent tier
- AI Import Wizard: booking emails, PDFs, Word and Excel become a structured itinerary automatically
- GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport), mid-office and TMC back-office connectors
- White-label web itinerary; PDF itinerary from 20+ templates, 1,000+ fonts and your own colors; e-document delivery with open tracking
- Live flight updates, push notifications; disruption dashboard, risk alerts and traveler tracking (add-on)
- Feature availability configured per agency or client type; separate branded versions for agency partners; custom development available
- Trip Genius daily plan suggestions, offline destination content, tour leader tools, 9 languages
Pricing. Trip Agent has a monthly subscription with no setup fee. The full white-label solution has a setup fee plus a monthly fee based on itinerary volume and selected modules, not the number of seats. Full white-label implementation is scoped for your project; bespoke development is priced separately. A free trial is available after a demo. See pricing options.
Why mTrip is the pick for agencies past the solo stage
These are the capabilities to assess together when your agency needs branded delivery, connected booking data, and flexibility beyond a standard app. Ask each shortlisted vendor to demonstrate your required combination.
- Bookings flow in by themselves. Native Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport connections plus mid-office connectors mean the itinerary updates when a booking changes. Everything else goes through the AI Import Wizard, which reads booking emails, PDFs, Word and Excel files and builds the itinerary without retyping. Axus also imports PNRs; compare automatic booking updates and named connector scope across vendors.
- Your app, your developer account. With the full white-label solution, mTrip publishes your app on the App Store and Google Play under your own developer account and adds deep configuration and custom development options. Axus, Vamoos, and Travefy Enterprise also offer custom-branded apps; compare the ownership and configuration terms. myKontiki on the App Store is an example of mTrip delivery under DERTOUR Suisse AG, Kontiki’s parent company.
- One itinerary, three outputs. The app, the web itinerary on your domain and PDF exports use the same itinerary data. Connected app and web views receive changes, and your team can generate branded PDFs from the latest trip details.
More reasons to choose mTrip
- Documents configured for your brand. Choose and configure PDF templates, fonts, and colors for your trip documents. mTrip brings those outputs together with a web itinerary and traveler app. Compare each vendor’s template controls using a sample document from your agency.
- Your features, your brand, your development roadmap. Configure which features and content each client type sees, activate the modules your operation needs, and provide separate branded experiences for agency partners. Nine languages are supported. For requirements beyond configuration, mTrip’s in-house team offers custom development on request, with scope and pricing agreed for your project. This combination gives agencies control over both the traveler experience and how the platform supports their business.
- Priced by trips, not seats. Adding staff costs nothing; a Trip Agent entry tier available immediately; and a disruption management module, which none of the other six offers: a live dashboard that shows every disrupted trip and traveler, with real-time risk alerts and tracking when things go wrong.
Who should look elsewhere: solo advisors and very small agencies for whom a $19 to $49 per-seat subscription is the right size; Travefy, TravelJoy or Tern fit them better. The fully independent app typically takes around 2 to 3 weeks to publish because it goes through Apple and Google under your account.

Tern combines more of the advisor CRM and financial workflow; confirm its enterprise scope against the same requirements.
Itinerary and collaboration tool · DMC co-editing
Axus Travel App
Axus is an itinerary building and collaboration platform used by advisors, agencies, DMCs and consortia members. Its distinctive feature is invitation-based co-editing: an advisor can invite any DMC or planner worldwide to work on the same itinerary from start to finish. It also imports GDS PNRs (Sabre is documented in its help center), parses vendor confirmations, and connects to popular CRMs or a proprietary back end through its API. Travelers use the AXUS Travel App, branded with the agency’s logo and theme, with document storage, in-app messaging and automatic change notifications.
- Itinerary builder with reusable content library and DMC co-editing by invitation
- GDS PNR import and vendor confirmation parsing
- Co-branded web itineraries, PDFs and traveler app with document storage and destination guides
- CRM and API integrations
Pricing. $35 per seat per month or $329 per seat per year. DMCs and tour operators get custom team-based pricing.
Where Axus is strongest. Invitation-based co-editing with DMCs, alongside GDS PNR import and public per-seat pricing.
When to prioritize mTrip. Axus offers custom-branded apps, GDS PNR import, and an API. mTrip combines your own developer-account app with detailed feature configuration, named mid-office connections, optional risk management, and in-house custom development. Compare the required booking-update workflow and branding scope before deciding.
Quoting and production system · tour operators and DMCs
Ezus
Ezus is built for tour operators, DMCs and agencies that design tailor-made FIT, group and MICE trips, and is used in 70+ countries. Its strength is the production chain: a request comes in, the team builds the program from a supplier database, budgets update automatically with markups, VAT and multiple currencies, and a branded proposal goes out in one click. The same data then generates travel documents and a web Traveller Area with a payment portal. An integrated CRM, supplier payment tracking and Zapier plus HubSpot, Salesforce, Xero and Pennylane connections round it out.
Note: Ezus and mTrip are integration partners, not rivals. Bookings built in Ezus can flow into an mTrip app, so an operator can use Ezus to sell and produce and mTrip to deliver. Details of the integration.
- Request-to-quote for FIT, groups and MICE with automated budgets, markups, VAT and multi-currency
- Supplier database, supplier payment tracking, integrated CRM
- One-click branded proposals and travel documents; web Traveller Area with payment portal
- Zapier, HubSpot, Salesforce, Xero, Pennylane and mTrip connections
Pricing. Public per-user plans that scale from first bookings to growing teams; see the Ezus pricing page for current rates.
Where Ezus is strongest. Quoting, costing, margins and supplier payments for tailor-made and group trips, with an mTrip integration for branded traveler delivery.
When to pair Ezus with mTrip. Ezus focuses on quotes, costing, suppliers, and operations. If your project also needs mTrip’s native traveler app, offline content, detailed app configuration, and optional risk management, assess the existing integration. Verify the current scope of both products together.
Traveler app · boutique operators, villas and hotels
Vamoos
Vamoos is a guest-facing app for travel companies, hotels and villas. Operators upload the daily storyboard, documents, maps and weather, and guests get a countdown, offline access, live updates and 24/7 messaging. It is quick to launch, has no setup fee, and is priced by passengers carried rather than by seat. As standard the Vamoos app carries your logo and content; a “Your Own App” option puts your own icon and listing in the App Store and Google Play.
- Mobile app with offline access, countdown and daily storyboard with linked documents
- Maps, weather, points of interest, live updates, 24/7 messaging and notifications
- Direct connections to reservation systems
- Optional own-brand app listing
Pricing. Monthly fee by annual passenger volume, from US$323 (Starter) to US$2,528 (above 10,000 passengers), with a 10% discount for annual prepayment and no setup fee. The own-brand app option is priced separately.
Where Vamoos is strongest. A guest-app rollout with no setup fee, public passenger-based pricing, and an own-brand app option for boutique operators.
When to prioritize mTrip. Vamoos offers a traveler app, own-app options, and back-office integration. mTrip is a strong fit when you need itinerary production, a quote feature, named GDS and mid-office connections, AI document import, and optional risk management alongside your branded app. Compare both systems using an actual booking change and your required outputs.
Is Amadeus or Sabre travel agency software? No. Here is what connects to them
Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport are Global Distribution Systems used for flight, hotel, and car bookings. mTrip connects to all three and links booking data to branded traveler delivery; Axus also offers PNR import and an API. Ask every shortlisted vendor to demonstrate how initial bookings and later changes enter the itinerary. For confirmations outside a GDS, mTrip’s AI Import Wizard turns documents and emails into structured itinerary data.
How to choose
Four questions that shortlist travel agency software for you
Answer these and the shortlist usually falls out on its own. For most agencies and tour operators, three of the four point to mTrip.
Booking integration: GDS, mid-office or email
Where do your bookings live?
If bookings sit in a GDS or mid-office system, ask for the exact connector and demonstrate an initial booking and a later change. mTrip lists Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport, and mid-office connections. Axus also offers PNR import; other vendors may propose APIs or document-import workflows. For confirmations received by email or PDF, test representative samples and include review time in your comparison.
Client delivery: app, web and PDF
How do your clients receive the trip today?
If clients need an app, web itinerary, and PDF, compare how each output is created and updated. mTrip produces these from the same itinerary with configurable document templates. Connected app and web views receive changes, and branded PDFs are generated from the itinerary. Check the same workflow with every shortlisted vendor.
White-label branding
Whose name should be on the app?
If a vendor-branded app with your logo inside is fine, every platform except Ezus offers one. If travelers must download an app published under your company name, the choice is mTrip or the custom-app options from Axus, Vamoos, and Travefy Enterprise. Be honest here: many small agencies do not need their own listing.
Disruption management
What happens when a flight is cancelled at 2 a.m.?
Compare flight notifications separately from duty of care. mTrip offers optional risk management with a disruption dashboard, traveler tracking, and risk alerts. Ask every vendor to demonstrate the situations you need to handle and confirm the module, data, and connectivity requirements.
The case for mTrip, from the publisher
Why white-label travel agency software is our argument
Most of the tools above are built around selling the trip: the CRM, the quote, the commission. mTrip is built around the trip itself: the itinerary your team assembles every day and the experience your client has with it on the road. That is the part of the job that never stops, whether you have five agents or fifty, and it is where mTrip has spent seventeen years.
A full white-label platform shaped around your agency. Your own app-store identity is the starting point. mTrip also gives you detailed control over branding across the app, web itinerary, and PDFs, lets you configure traveler features and content, and offers custom development by its in-house team on request. Evaluate competing white-label offers against all three requirements: brand ownership, feature control, and the ability to build what your business needs. Explore mTrip’s white-label app.
- Build the itinerary once and publish it to app, web and a PDF from 20+ templates in your colors and fonts
- Stop retyping: GDS and mid-office feeds, plus the AI Import Wizard for every booking that arrives as an email or a PDF
- Own the app listing, the reviews and the brand moment on the trip
- Add the risk management module for a live disruption dashboard, real-time alerts and traveler tracking when a trip goes wrong
The honest counterweight: mTrip is a bigger commitment than a per-seat subscription: a setup, a quote, an onboarding. For a solo advisor that is too much, and one of the six other tools is the better buy. For an agency or tour operator, evaluate the cost against the itinerary work, traveler experience, and integration requirements you need to improve. Measure the effect on your own workflow during the trial after your demo.
What to ask us to demonstrate
Use a sample itinerary to follow three checks: see how your branding carries through app, web, and PDF; review which traveler features can be configured; and identify any requirement that needs custom development. Ask what is included, what is optional, and what would be separately scoped. This gives you a concrete basis for comparing white-label depth.

Questions buyers ask
Best Travel Agency Software FAQ
Choosing
What is the best travel agency software in 2026?
Our pick for branded itinerary delivery and connected operations is mTrip. Its full white-label solution combines app ownership, traveler feature configuration, GDS and mid-office connections, AI import, a quote feature, and optional risk management. Travefy, Tern, and TravelJoy also suit buyers looking for bundled CRM and advisor administration. The right choice depends on which workflow you need to improve.
Is this guide independent?
No. It is published by mTrip, which is one of the seven platforms reviewed. We have tried to compensate by sourcing every competitor claim from the vendor’s own site, listing public prices, and stating for each tool where it beats mTrip. Treat the section titled “The case for mTrip” as advocacy and the rest as our best attempt at a fair description. Corrections are welcome and will be applied.
What is the best tour operator software?
For most tour operators, mTrip’s tour operator software: bookings arrive from a mid-office like Tourplan or Moonstride, and the itinerary goes out through your own app with tour leader tools, live updates and disruption alerts. Ezus is built for quoting and costing and feeds mTrip directly. Axus fits teams that co-edit itineraries with DMCs. Vamoos gets a boutique operator a guest app live in days.
Is travel agency management software the same as travel agency software?
In practice, yes: vendors use travel agency software, travel agency management software and travel agent software for the same category. “Management software” usually stresses the back office (bookings, invoicing, commissions, reporting), while itinerary platforms stress what the client receives. The seven tools here span both ends: Travefy, Tern and TravelJoy on the back-office side, mTrip, Axus and Vamoos on client delivery, Ezus on quoting. Decide which end your bottleneck is on before comparing features.
Do I really need a white-label travel app?
Not always. A white-label travel app is one published on the App Store and Google Play under the agency’s own name and icon, with no vendor branding. It makes sense for agencies and operators whose brand is a major reason clients book, who run enough trips for the app to be used daily, or who serve corporate accounts that expect a proprietary-feeling tool. A solo advisor with fifty trips a year will get more value from a vendor app with their logo inside, which every platform here except Ezus provides.
Integrations and segments
Which travel agency software connects to a GDS?
mTrip connects to Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport; Axus also offers GDS PNR import. Compare automatic booking updates, import steps, and the exact connectors you use. Travefy offers an Enterprise API, so ask about the proposed GDS workflow rather than assuming API access means automatic synchronization. mTrip combines named GDS and mid-office connections with AI import for confirmations received as emails or documents.
Is Amadeus or Sabre travel agency software?
No. Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport are Global Distribution Systems, the booking infrastructure agencies use to reserve flights, hotels and cars. They do not build itineraries, brand a client app or deliver travel documents. Travel agency software sits on top of the GDS and turns those bookings into what the client receives. Of the seven platforms compared here, mTrip connects natively to all three so bookings flow into the itinerary automatically, and Axus imports PNRs on request.
Can one platform handle both leisure and corporate travel?
mTrip supports both leisure and corporate travel. Its optional risk management adds traveler tracking and risk alerts to itinerary and traveler-delivery workflows. For every vendor, compare the corporate booking connections and duty-of-care scope you require; a live flight alert is not the same as a full risk-management workflow.
What integrations should I look for in travel agency software?
Start from what you already use. A GDS needs native Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport support. For a mid-office, check the vendor’s connector list (mTrip lists Tourplan, Moonstride, Juniper, Ezus, Viaxoft, Open Destination and Facilitatrip). Everything else calls for an AI import that reads booking confirmations, which mTrip’s AI Import Wizard does for email, PDF, Word and Excel. Automation runs through Zapier (mTrip, Ezus) or an API (mTrip, Axus). For support desks, mTrip connects to Zendesk, Missive and Genesys.
Pricing
How much does travel agency software cost?
At September 2026 list prices: TravelJoy from $19 a month, Travefy from $39, Axus $35 and Tern $35 to $49 per seat per month, Ezus on public per-user plans, and Vamoos from US$323 a month based on annual passenger volume. mTrip does not publish prices. Trip Agent has a monthly subscription with no setup fee. The full white-label solution has a setup fee plus a monthly fee based on itinerary volume and selected modules, not the number of seats. Implementation scope is agreed in the quote. A free trial is available after a demo. See mTrip pricing options and compare the first-year total for the same branding, integrations, and modules across your shortlist.
